The course will develop on the knowledge from intermediate microeconomics and cover advanced topics in microeconomics through the comprehensive discussion and analysis of general equilibrium, factor markets, investment, capital markets, decision making under under uncertainty, asymmetric information, externalities, common and public goods.

Public Finance is the area where all aspects of economic system such as resource allocation between private and public sectors, income distribution and stabilization and nature of public expenditures are discussed. The main objective of this course is to provide essential theoretical and empirical know how of public finance to the students and equip them with essential tools for future development, planning and decision making.
